People have been hearing tons of gossip about the new iPhone 8 that might be released this September, but the question is, what about it is different from the others- and do you really need it?
To start off, there are many claims stating that this new generation of the iPhone will have a glass backside instead of aluminum, and the edges of the phone will have stainless steel. Various sites and sources have also been saying that the home button on the iPhone will be absolutely non-existent, unlike any of the designs in previous generations. It is also said that the phone will be the same size as the current iPhone 7, 4.7 inches. But the thing that’s making everyone go ridiculously wild is that Apple seems to be indicating that the new phone could cost $1,000 or more!
Apple may also very likely include the A11 processor, (also called the A11 Fusion) in the iPhone 8, which is a piece of technology that provides a 20 percent boost in performance and a 40 percent reduction in battery usage over current Apple devices. Also, the phone’s camera is reported to feature a camera developed in concert with LG Innotek, which incorporates 3D imaging technology.
Reports also suggest that the iPhone 8 may feature iris-scanning technology, and (IP68-certified) water resistance – meaning that the device can survive half an hour in 1.5-meter-deep water!
The device’s rumors honestly seems to be really impressive, and its release in September will definitely stir up much more opinions than it already has.
