MOHS Snowland 2016

As soon as Halloween is over and it is November 1st, everyone's minds switch to Christmas mode. Also, starting on November 1st is the selling of Snowland tickets! Tickets are $25 per person, and $50 per couple.

The ever so famous Snowland proposals or how the students like to call them “Snowposals,”, will be starting soon and can last all month. Usually, the boy will create a poster, or set up some elaborate scheme to ask the girl. They can go old-school though, and just ask in person too. However, some girls are more ambitious and ask the guys themselves. Even if a boy or girl doesn't get asked, they can still go and have a great night with their friends or just go have a good time by themself!

It’s very exciting to go dress shopping, and I’m sure the boys love getting to wear tuxedos! Usually if a boy and girl are going together, they will coordinate the color of the girl’s dress to the boy’s tie. You also can't forget the corsage and boutonniere! As more and more people get asked to the dance, about two to three people in the grade offer for everyone to take pictures at their house. Their dates can take pictures together, and even people just with their friends can too. It’s a great night whether you are with friends, or have a date!

Snowland is on December 3rd from 7:00pm-11:00pm. It will be held in the cafeteria. While the idea of dancing where everyone eats is unsettling, don't worry because Student Council does a great job of decorating it and keeping it clean.
