Time to ditch the tanks and replace them with lace cardigans, and say goodbye to shorts and welcome some new dark-wash skinny jeans into your closet! Nobody should be wearing summer outfits past September 21st, it’s just over with, stop your summer grief and get into the fall groove. Take it from me, do yourself a huge favor by saving those pieces for next year.

Throw on an oversized sweater, a denim jacket, and rock some adorable leather booties! Fall has arrived, hence there are many who are ecstatic to jump straight to the PSL and fashion trends that make this season so satisfying. This fall, there are tons of trends just waiting to take a spot in your wardrobe, one of which is most definitely booties, which can vary from all different kinds of styles! There are so many under sixty dollars that could take a casual, boring tee and jeans to a whole different level. Popular fall colors are maroon, browns, dark purples, nude colors, burgundy, gold, and silver. Those would look great right now in everything from shoes to clothing to accessories!

Light, not thick, fabric scarves are perfect for this weather, as well as denim and bomber jackets. A good idea to create a cute look this fall is to wear an oversized sweater over a skater dress. It sounds pretty crazy, but try it out and I guarantee that you’ll be surprised! Also, if you haven’t worn boot socks already then you should really consider wearing them now. Boot socks are so pretty, paired up with some leather riding boots or suede ankle boots would really make a statement.

Jewelry and other accessories make outfits pop during any season. Some chokers that have charms and/or embellishments are ‘in’ without a doubt! Get away from those plastic wired chokers to real chic ones that are metal and have designs, try to keep the plain for casual weekend outings. Take a black velvet headband to match other pieces in your ensemble, but if you’d prefer a different color other than black I’d go with a headband in a color that was listed previously in this article.

If your ears are pierced, you’re in luck this season! Hoop earrings top off for a nice, sleek look, but it you’re going for more attention there, I’d suggest wearing full-ear earrings to make your attire really shine. The Alex and Ani bracelets in a bronze color would look great with a flannel shirt around your waist, skinny jeans, booties, and a plain navy tee.

Nobody could ever get enough of converse shoes, their casual-like style matches with various clothing pieces usually in an outfit. I recommend no crazy patterns, just plain converse shoes to keep an outfit casual and not have too much going on in your look. It also is better plain because it goes with more pieces than a patterned converse shoe would.
