A Slice of Heaven

Finding the “best” slice of pizza in New Jersey is just as easy as finding a needle in a haystack. As residents of Mount Olive, and New Jersey in general, we all have our strong opinions as far as who makes the best pizza. But underneath all of the gooey cheese and tomato sauce, who’s pies should hold the biggest “pizza” your heart?

It turns out that the answer to your never-ending quest lies at 382 US Highway 46 in Budd Lake! Enzo’s Pizzeria and Ristorante is a family owned, 40 year strong business that operates out of the heart of Morris County, New Jersey. With a traditional dining room setup on one side and a lively pizza counter on the other, there are several ways to enjoy “Mount Olive’s Best Slice.” Owner and son team Ernie Buonincontri and Emilio Buonincontri are the faces behind it all. Emilio Buonincontri, assistant manager, speaks of his experience in his family’s restaurant. “The secret behind our success for all of these years has to be the family values my Grandfather founded the restaurant on. He always told my Father and I to serve good food to good people and I believe that we continue to do that. Our food is made with care and the intent to make every customer satisfied.”

At any time of the day, one could wander inside the marble-decorated storefront and be greeted with smiling faces readily displaying excellence in customer service. The staff at Enzo’s is very family-oriented and passionate about serving quality Italian food to their customers, be it either newcomers or weekly regulars. Philip Graziano of Long Valley frequents the restaurant for their Sicilian pie. “Enzo’s makes the best pizza on this side of the Delaware! Their entree menu offers an extensive selection, surprising for a pizzeria in the area,” says Graziano.

Another pleased customer, Alex DeJesus from Flanders boasts “I had the best slice of pizza in my life on St. Patrick’s Day at Enzo’s. They created a corned beef & cabbage pie that I look forward to having every year!”

Between the ingredients and the staff, Enzo’s effortlessly produces amazing results. Rest assured that when you come into one of their three storefronts, you will be greeted with a smile and a delicious meal.

Although your heart may belong to one of the other hundreds of pizzerias in New Jersey, the word on the street is that Enzo’s is “what’s happening,”as the employees would say.
